End of Season

We are really at the end of season now, so there will be no more formal rambles,  until the spring.

 However, a few of us are keen to get out throughout the winter when the weather is good so if you fancy a day out drop me an email.

We have our Christmas lunch  on Mon Dec 7th at 12 noon, at Victoria inn Roach (map). if you are interested in the club, why not come along and meet us? If you would like us to reserve your place, let me know and I'll send you the menu.

Cornwall rolling Ramblers next ramble August 2015

Hi all,

our next ramble will be along the camel trail from Padstow to Wadebridge.

We meet at 11 AM in the car park behind the fire station.

Disabled toilets at both Wadebridge and Padstow, and we will be having lunch in Padstow.

 

Parking may be difficult, so don't unload until we’re all there, we may have to relocate.

Cornwall rolling Ramblers next Ramble, Okehampton, Friday 10th of July.

Hi all,
our next Ramble will be along the granite way, from Okehampton station.
Meeting at the car park North (Okehampton) side of the track on Friday 10th of July at 12 noon.
There are toilets at the station and some refreshments are normally available.

Cornwall rolling Ramblers, next ramble week commencing 15th of June.

Hi all,
we had a beautiful day at the camel trail yesterday, good weather fish and chips and good company.
Does anybody want to ramble next week?
If you would like to come, then please get back to me as soon as possible with suggested date and venue.
Please give me a preferred day and days you definitely cannot make it.
Let me know as soon as possible,5 PM Saturday at the latest to give me time to try and sort out something that suits everybody.

Suggestions, so far are Bude canal Wednesday or possibly Thursday.

Cornwall rolling Ramblers next ramble,Wednesday 10th of June

Hi all,

 

next weeks ramble will be along the camel trail from Weybridge to Padstow.
The best day for everybody seems to be  Wednesday . Meeting at 12 noon in the car park behind Wadebridge Fire station,

 

This is certainly one of our nicest rambles, suitable for all types of scooters, fantastic views of the camel estuary, fish and chips and a pub at Padstow. Full wheelchair accessible toilets.

 

Will anybody interested in going please let me know by Sunday 6pm.

today's ramble

A few of us are meeting at the cafe in Tehidy at 12:30 today (Thursday, 21st) if you are in the area, please come along.

 

 

Hi all,

we had a splendid day out in Helston yesterday, down through Penrose walks to Porthleven for some fish and chips and back. Sunny weather apart from couple of hours when it went overcast, but warm and dry. The blue bells were out making spectacular views even better.

Is anyone interested in doing anything next week, weather looks best on the Wednesday but personally I'm totally flexible. If you are interested please get back to me by 6 PM Sunday with ideas of what you'd like to do and what days you are available. Also perhaps, how far your willing to travel. So far the suggestions we have have have been Tehidy, Lanhydrock and London apprentice to Mevagissy via the lost Gardens of Heligan , but we’re totally open to suggestions .

Hi all,

we had a pleasant, if a little damp, jaunt around Goss Moor Friday. Path's were good and the flora had grown up nicely,

 

Our next trip will be on Friday 15th May at Penrose, Helston. Details to follow, please let me know if you are coming so I can finalise details.

Rambles start in May

 Rambles start 1st week of May. we are planning to start somewhere in the middle of Cornwall. Probably Goss moor  as it's short( about 8 miles), flat and with good road access in case we have battery problems 1st time for the year.

If you're thinking of joining, now is a perfect time. Or why not just come along and see what were like?

Summer is on its way.

It’s that time of year when we start preparing for the summer. We have our 1st committee meeting of the year on Friday 6th Feb., 10:30 at Trevithick Inn Camborne

All welcome, if you live in Camborne and are not a member why not pop in and say hello.

If you like being outdoors, and perhaps have been a rambler in the past but now need to use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, CRR organises rambles from April-October. We find routes that are small-wheel friendly and arrange to meet for a day and enjoy the ramble together. Friends and family are welcome to join us.
